In a clear display of wisdom and balance Chief Justice Roberts offered a way forward for our republic.  Teetering on insolvency Roberts our republic a way forward recognizing the validity of congress' 2010 solution to a major drain on nation resources.

Roberts, a G.W. Bush appointee, recognized congressional authority enumerated in the constitution to tax while wisely pointing to the limits of congressional authority to compel the states to act to extend health care programs.
